Moolooloo STATION

Originally an outpost of our Victoria River Downs Station, Moolooloo is a very special place to live and work with its natural springs and ground water.

The original Moolooloo homestead was founded in May 1921 and was referred to as ‘No. 1 Camp’. Now a days, Moolooloo is managed as its own cattle station with a full crew.

Station Managers
Brent Sneesby & Liz Horne

Brent and Liz first commenced with Heytesbury Pastoral in March 2019 at our Victoria River Downs Station, in the positions of Assistant Manager & Station Support, respectively.  They were promoted to Station Managers at our Moolooloo Station in June 2020, and Liz also manages the Supplement program for the group.

Before joining the Heytesbury Pastoral team, Brent was a qualified builder and Liz completed a bachelor of Agricultural Science degree at Massey University NZ, before she travelled and worked in the agricultural industry throughout Europe. They met during their time contract mustering with the Wild Contracting crew, previously heading up the crew that assisted with mustering at our Humbert River outstation for a number of years.  Both come from farming backgrounds.

“We enjoy working for Heytesbury Pastoral as there is a high-quality Brahman herd. The use of horses and dogs to educate and muster cattle helps us progress in this area, as well as aligning with our management values.”
