Located just 35 kilometres from Katherine, Carbeen Park (incorporating Taylor’s Park) is a renowned property spanning approximately 14,250 hectares of freehold land. With fertile soils and pristine frontage to the Katherine River, it offers an ideal environment for cattle operations.

Purchased in 2024, Carbeen Park’s proximity to Katherine, the region’s principal service centre, makes it a strategic asset within the group. Katherine plays a vital role in export cattle logistics and serves as a key transit location for nearly all our staff travelling to and from stations.

In 2026 we added Taylor’s Park to be incorporated with Carbeen Park.

The property features predominantly premium river levee leaf soils, suited to agricultural use. The landscape is largely flat to gently undulating, comprising of well drained loamy red earths.

General Management Operations
Rusty & Julie Richter

Rusty and Julie joined the group in 2003, both starting their careers as station hands – Rusty at Flora Valley Station and Julie at Victoria River Downs Station. Over the years, they have progressed through a variety of roles within the company, reflecting their dedication, leadership, and understanding of the pastoral sector.

Rusty now serves as General Manager Operations, overseeing the company’s pastoral assets, and Julie supporting the group as the HR/WHS & Administration Officer, with a focus on training and safety across all stations.

They spent many years based at our Victoria River Downs Station, where they raised their two children, before relocating to Carbeen Park to solely focus their time in the general management of the growing group.
